Five youth and Delegate of the Word, Diego Medel, will visit Mexico from June 16 – July 3. This youth delegation will focus on leadership development as they visits the Community in Guadalajara and the Community’s work in San Martin, Michoacan, and Aguascalientes. In addition, the delegation will visit the avocado fields of Michoacan, Guanajuato, the cradle of the Mexican Revolution, and the colonial city of Morelia. Upon their return, this team will assume leadership for Central City Lutheran Mission’s growing youth project. The total cost of the trip is $6,000, or $1,000 per participant. Scholarship funds are needed to cover the costs. As of May 14, $4,500 has been raised. An additional $1,500 needs to be raised. Please give generously.
